In the morning, we’ll be hanging out at Lazy L&L #2. It’s a campground about 30 minutes north of New Braunfels right off of the Guadalupe River. The particular site we’re reserving is further up River Rd before Ponderossa Crossing. There are several picnic tables and benches throughout. It should be pretty scenic 
Try to be there ~ 10am.

At 1:30 we’ll have a late lunch maybe somewhere in/around New Braunfels before making our way to San Antonio Karting Complex for the fourth official Texas MR2 Grand Prix. It’ll be the same format as the last few years (practice, qualifying, race), so everyone gets three on-track sessions.

We are being encouraged by SAKC to bring our own helmets and neck braces. If you have an extra, bring it too if you’re ok with it. I assume they have to be full face. They will have rentals, but only so many, and we usually have a pretty big group.

Shirts and hoodies are avaliable on Grannyshifters.com, proceeds go to pay for the site reservation and the artist that draws all our cool event posters and whatnot.

3:30 pm - Check in and pay at SAKC for karting

Come enjoy an evening at Speedsportz Racing Park for their monthly running of Track Casual. Event is open to public.

$125 Pre-registration / $150 week of.
This event is designed for beginners. Point by passing.
Helmet required(Motorcycle helmets OK). Helmet Rentals available for $25.
500hp limit.
No loose items in car.

The course is not high speed. Most of it will be 2nd gear and one spot you could maybe hit 3rd.

Venmo QR is for Speedsportz. Please specify month/day, vehicle year/make when paying. It is first come, first serve.

Tech starts at 4pm. Followed by a drivers meeting. Typically you're out on the course by 5:30pm and run til the place closes at 10pm.
